Repeat prescriptions will be issued at the doctor’s discretion and are normally for patients on long-term treatment. Requests for prescriptions can be made by: 

• by using your online access account (NHS app (visit www.nhs.uk/nhsapp) or Patient Access account) 
• using the online form below
• by phone: 01329 664231, choosing option 3 to speak to our prescriptions team

Please allow 5 working days' notice for your prescription request to be processed and sent directly to your nominated pharmacy.

Some local pharmacies also provide a free delivery service direct to your home. Ask your local pharmacy if they provide this service.

You can re-order a repeat medication once you are halfway through your supply. 

• If you usually have 2 months' supply you can re-order after you have used the first months' worth.
• For a one-month prescription you can re-order after 2 weeks

Repeat Dispensing

Repeat dispensing is a process that allows a patient to obtain repeated supplies of their medication or appliances without the need for the prescriber to authorised repeat prescriptions each time. This allows the prescriber to authorise and issue a batch of repeat prescriptions until the patient needs to be reviewed. The prescriptions are then available for dispensing at the specified interval by the patient’s nominated pharmacy.

If you are currently under repeat dispensing, you do not need to complete the form below and once you have collected your last repeat dispensing perscription you will need to contact the practice to book a medication review.

Prescription Pre-Payment Certificates (PPC)

A PPC could save you money if you pay for your NHS prescriptions.
The certificate covers all your NHS prescriptions for a set price. You will save money if you need more than 3 items in 3 months, or 11 items in 12 months.
The prescription charge in England is £9.90. A PPC costs:

£114.50 for 12 months
