Making Evening and Weekend Appointments – Giving You More Choice

GP practices in this area are making it easier for you to make appointments at times which suit you.

  • From October 2017 we will be part of a new scheme that allows you to make appointments from 8am to 8pm on week days, from 8am to 4.30pm on Saturdays, and on Sunday mornings.
  • If you do need to see someone, we can offer you an appointment at your local ‘hub’ location: Fareham Community Hospital or Gosport War Memorial Hospital (or alternatively at Petersfield Community Hospital, Waterlooville Health Centre or Havant Health Centre).
  • You will be seen by a locally-based healthcare professional – the service is led by GPs but also includes other staff such as nurses, or healthcare assistants.
  • Please note: the new extended opening hours is not a walk-in service – you need to make an appointment.
  • You can make an appointment by talking to our surgery staff and booking a slot in the normal way.  If we are closed and you think you need to see someone more urgently, you can call NHS 111 to ask to make an appointment.

For more information, talk to our staff, or click here for our Question and Answer section.

eConsult is now live and can be accessed via the link shown.

What is eConsult? eConsult is an online facility that allows you to receive routine treatment and/or feedback from your GP without the need to visit the surgery, from the convenience of your computer. The service can be accessed at any time and we will get back to you by the end of the following working day. Find your health condition and fill out a simple online questionnaire.

Please remember that this new service is NOT suitable for urgent medical problems that cannot wait until the next working day to receive feedback.
